What are Twitter Cards?
Twitter Cards make it possible to attach rich photos, videos and media experiences to Tweets, helping to drive traffic to your website. Whenever a link to your site is shared, a "card" is added to the Tweet based on the tags you define in your HTML.
Types of Twitter Cards
- Summary Card: Title, description, and a small thumbnail image. Good for simple blogs.
- Summary Card with Large Image: Similar to the Summary Card, but with a prominently featured large image. (Highly Recommended)
- App Card: A Card with a direct download link to a mobile app in the App Store or Google Play.
- Player Card: A Card that can display video, audio, or other playable media.
