Structured Data Eligibility Auditor
Extract JSON-LD from a live page, validate it with SiteTidy's existing schema checker, then separate Schema.org validity from Google's current rich-result support.
Three different questions are usually collapsed into one
Structured-data tooling often reports “valid” as though that means “Google will show a rich result.” It does not. The useful questions are: does the JSON-LD parse, does the Schema.org type describe the page honestly, and does Google currently document a Search feature for that type?
Even the third answer is only eligibility. Google explicitly says correct supported markup does not guarantee a rich result. This tool therefore uses separate statuses instead of a misleading single green tick.
Retired does not mean invalid Schema.org
FAQPage is the clearest current example. It remains a Schema.org type, while Google stopped showing FAQ rich results on 7 May 2026. HowTo is another example of a type whose old Google rich result was retired. Removing or keeping such markup should depend on whether the markup still serves a real consumer or semantic purpose, not on stale search-result screenshots.
