If you haven't published your page yet, use this tool to mock up how your metadata will look. Different platforms truncate titles and descriptions at different lengths, and frame images with varying border radiuses and background colors.
Character Limits
- Twitter: Truncates descriptions heavily. Focus your main hook in the first 100 characters.
- Facebook: Usually displays up to 2 lines of title and 1 line of description depending on screen size.
- LinkedIn: Often hides the description entirely in its large image preview, focusing solely on the title and domain.
- Discord: Displays a generous amount of text but shrinks images to fit a specific max-width/height bounding box.
