Sitemap vs Crawl Comparator
Compare a sitemap's URL set with a bounded same-origin crawl. The difference surfaces pages that may be orphaned from internal navigation and crawl-discovered pages that are missing from the sitemap.
“Orphan” needs evidence, not a label
A URL being present in a sitemap but absent from one crawl is a useful lead, not proof that the page has zero internal links. Crawl limits, JavaScript navigation, alternate entry points and inaccessible sections can all create false positives.
That is why this tool deliberately calls the first difference set potential orphan / not discovered. I would use it to create an investigation queue, then verify the important URLs with internal-link data or a larger rendered crawl before making structural changes.
The opposite difference matters too
Pages discovered through internal links but absent from a sitemap are not necessarily wrong. Sitemaps do not need to contain every crawlable URL. But if a crawl-only URL is canonical, indexable and commercially important, its absence from the sitemap is worth understanding.
