The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define specific contrast ratios to ensure that text is legible for users with varying levels of vision, including those with color blindness.
WCAG AA Requirements
- Normal Text (less than 18pt or 14pt bold): Requires a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
